Nanyang Scholarship for International Students at the Nanyang Technological University

Application is currently opened for international students for 2024 Nanyang Technological University Scholarships, Singapore for undergraduate programme. The scholarship will be awarded to students with exceptional academic records.

The Nanyang Scholarship acknowledges students who excel in academics, exhibit notable leadership potential, and showcase outstanding co-curricular achievements. Therefore, it is crucial to be well-prepared at every phase of the application and interview procedure.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following:

The scholarship is open to all nationalities
Candidates should be ready to undertake a full-time undergraduate programme.
Possess outstanding high school diploma or its equivalent
Excellent co-curricular records.
Strong leadership qualities and potential.

Please Note

The successful candidate should not concurrently possess any other scholarships, grants, university loans, or awards without obtaining prior approval from the University.
The successful candidate must uphold a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 out of 5.0, with academic performance assessments conducted at the conclusion of each semester.
The successful candidate must fulfill the responsibility of serving as a student ambassador or undertaking analogous roles, representing the university by delivering promotional speeches, hosting visitors, and more, as needed.
The university reserves the right to revoke the scholarship at any point if the university assesses that the scholarship recipient’s academic performance or conduct is considered unsatisfactory.
In the event that the successful candidate opts to end the scholarship before its completion, they will be required to make a repayment.

Benefits of the Scholarship

The scholarship will provide funding for the entire standard program duration, provided that the scholarship recipient maintains a consistently strong academic record and demonstrates exemplary behavior.

Full coverage of subsidised tuition fees (after Tuition Grant).
S$6,500Living allowance per academic year.
S$2,000 Accommodation allowance per academic year. (Applicable to successful candidate who reside in NTU hostels only.)
Up to S$5,000Travel grant for an overseas programme
Computer allowance – S$1,750 (one-off).
No bond is attached to the Nanyang Scholarship apart from the three-year bond applicable to all Singapore PRs and international students under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme.
