About the Role

1. Prior teaching experience is not required

2. These positions are fixed term.

3. Instruction is performed at a Lindamood-Bell® Learning Centre located in Notting Hill. This is not a remote position.

4. Required hours during the paid training are generally 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, for two weeks. Following the training, as a fixed term employee, your hours will be set according to your employment contract.

5. This position requires Monday – Friday availability. You may be scheduled between 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM in line with Learning Centre hours of operation.

6. All necessary technical equipment and programme materials will be provided.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide one-to-one and small group instruction, in-person or online, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Centre leadership.
  • Facilitate the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students.
  • Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Manage client records electronically using a computer.


  1. Have a passion for helping others reach their potential.
  2. Implement positive-reinforcement strategies that maximise learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner.
  3. Possess excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
  4. Possess basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions.
  5. Associate’s degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, Bachelor’s degree, or actively pursuing a degree is required.


  • The hourly rate for this position is £18 per hour.
  • Paid time off – Paid holidays (public and 1 floating), Annual leave, Sick, and Closure Hours
  • Internship credits may be available.
  • We provide paid training in the programmes used by Lindamood-Bell.
