About the Role
As a Registered General Nurse, you will play a core role in the care team, collaborating with the Deputy Manager/Clinical lead. Your responsibilities will present unique opportunities to join caring, fun, and forward-thinking homes, all in the early stages of development. They are looking for a professional, creative, and energetic nursing staff to join their friendly and passionate teams, all working towards the same goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
Qualified applicants will be responsible for the following:
1. Assist the Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead with the responsibility for clinical care in the home, ensuring continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of residents’ care.
2. Assist in ensuring that care plans are regularly audited and appropriate to residents’ needs, reflecting the care being delivered.
3. Ensure medication is ordered, administered, and stored following company policies, procedures, and NMC guidelines.
4. Develop and promote good communication with residents, relatives, and team members.
Requirements for Job Role
1. Valid NMC PIN
2. Updated DBS check / willing to undergo a DBS check
3. Experience in taking accountability for completing person-centered care plans accurately and clearly
4. Working to the standards set by the Regulators and external bodies
5. Experience in proactively conducting and managing Residents’ reviews, taking into account the Resident or their Representatives’ needs and wishes.
