Nanyang President’s Scholarship for International Students at the Nanyang Technological University

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024 Nanyang Technological University Scholarships in Singapore, specifically for international students interested in pursuing a postgraduate program. These scholarships are designed to recognize and support individuals with outstanding academic achievements.

The Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) represents a prestigious and highly competitive scholarship initiative, with the primary goal of encouraging exceptional graduates or those in the final stages of their studies to pursue a full-time Ph.D. program at Nanyang Technological University. Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following:

The scholarship is open to all nationalities, including Singapore Citizens.
Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree or its equivalent
Candidates that have not completed their Bachelor degree or it equivalent will provide evidence from their university that they are in line to get a Honours degree or its equivalent.
Candidates must be fit to take research in the proposed field of advanced study.

Benefits of the Scholarship

The scholarship will provide funding for the entire standard program duration, provided that the scholarship recipient maintains a consistently strong academic record and demonstrates exemplary behavior.

Annual Tuition fee provided.
Monthly stipend (S$3,500 to S$4,000)
Conference Allowance (S$4,000 per financial year)
Book Allowance (S$500 per annual)
IT Allowance (S$1,500one-time allowance)
Thesis Allowance (S$600 one-time allowance)
Preference will be granted to subsidized on-campus accommodation.

Please Note

International students are expected to engage in teaching or laboratory supervision responsibilities as part of their commitment to the Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP). For Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents, participation in GAP is subject to the schools’ discretion.
