About the role
As a junior accountant, you will provide steadfast commitment to upholding the company’s financial integrity. You need to have a one-year experience as successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the compilation of financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Provide support during monthly and yearly closing procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, balance sheets, and other pivotal financial documents.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Collaborate harmoniously with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and additional financial tasks.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
- Have a minimum of one year’s professional experience in the realm of accounting.
- Be proficient in Zohobooks; familiarity with ERPREV is an added benefit.
- Have strong analytical prowess coupled with effective problem-solving skills.
- Have an acute attention to detail.
- Have a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to foster relationships.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic work environment.
- Must reside in Yaba and Environs.
