About the role
A successful Station Manager ensures compliance with safety regulations, monitors equipment functionality, and addresses customer inquiries. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to optimize station performance, maintain a clean and safe environment, and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and evaluates station operational and marketing results and develops interventions to promote business development and growth.
- Evaluation of daily sales, meter reading, dipping, and lodgements.
- Compiles and analyses periodic sales records and consolidates such reports to the Head, of Retail Sales.
- Maintains excellent standards in all retail activity, driving sales and profitability through the effective deployment and development of station supervisors and cashiers in line with approved budgets.
- Coordinates both the sales of white products and the lubricants at the stations and liaises with the marketing team to ensure patronage is high in line with budgets and projections.
- Implements HSE Standards and controls in the retail stations.
Requirements
- Minimum of Second Class Upper, University Degree (BSc) and HND, Upper Credit in respective areas of study
- 1-3 years experience.
- Honesty, commitment and hardworking
- Self-motivation.
- Able to use MS Office

About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the petty cash inflow and outflow of Rainoil’s stations and depots and maintaining accurate records/books on transactions.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
- Maintain records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
- Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
- Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
- Reconcile all received cash with expenses, which have been recorded in the petty cash book.
- Process payment for accounts and issue receipts.
- Keep records of amounts received and paid, and regularly check the cash balance against this record.
- Collect money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements.
- File all documents concerning cash payment and collection.
- Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits, retirement deadlines, etc.
- Retire the various imprest accounts.
- Prepare daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting.
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a similar role.
