Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive maintenance of Electrical and Instrument equipment (Motor, Variable Speed Drive, Lighting, Switchgear etc.) and process instrumentation (Transmitters, Control Valves, On-Off Valves, Analyzers, Weighing System, Tank Gauging System etc.)
  • Troubleshoot, Repair, Install, Calibrate and Commission Electrical and Instrument equipment
  • Develop and review Job Safety Risk Analysis and Maintenance Procedures
  • Document and maintain all field observations and activities
  • Good knowledge on Instrument Analyzers and Sampling Systems will be a significant advantage
  • Perform 12 hours day shift when required
  • Able to perform night callout duty

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry
  • Possess hands-on experience in handling Electrical, Instrument and Analyzer Systems & Equipment
  • Strong analytical & trouble-shooting skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge on PLC will be an added advantage
  • Able to work individually or with teams
  • Highly safety conscious and follow company safety culture
