About the Role
Apple Montessori has an opportunity for a motivating Early Years Educator. This is a brand-new position created for someone with an in depth knowledge and understanding of child development and behaviour. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow in their career and share their width and breadth of the incredible development of children aged 1 to 4 years.
This is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to flexibly work 40 – 42.5hours Monday to Friday. This role is offering a competitive salary dependent on experience and performance and the opportunity to feed your passion for growth and development.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and how to deliver this to children aged 1-4.
- Work closely with parents and your team in the preparation of children going to school
- Work closely with your team to create a shared vision of the room
- Clear understanding of the Montessori Approach and resources.
- Paediatric First Aid award (preferred) .
Requirements
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher (QTS, EYPS, EYTS)
- Have experience working with children.
- Have good time management, meeting deadlines
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy,Patience and a genuine love for working with children.
- Clear understanding of the Montessori Approach and resources
